Countryside Live

A very valuable LEARNING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM experience, Countryside Live is a country fair for school children organised by The Countryside Foundation for Education (CFE). It is a fun and educational event, with links to the National Curriculum and covers areas like new life and growth, people and places, caring and products and materials. Field to Fork


Field to Fork. The Field to Fork website has been developed by the Countryside Foundation under the Going for Green initiative Green Code Programme for Schools and forms part of the CFE free on-line resources. The Green Family are taken out of their home town and into the countryside. They stay on a farm and learn about the origins of their food. Fuelling a Revolution


www.heritagewoodsonline.co.uk. Within South Yorkshire lies a unique network of 'Heritage Woodlands', all of which are at least 400 years old. All the woodlands in this programme are publically owned. 'Fuelling a Revolution' is a five year programme, funded by the heritage Lottery Fund, which seeks to reverse the decline and restore 35 of the woodlands to their former glory.
